Autism Spectrum Disorder.  Its a wide range of conditions that are characterized by the challenges an individual faces with social skills including verbal and nonverbal communication.  To neurotypicals or "normal people" as society likes to call them, these tasks appear to be so simple, but to a person on the spectrum these skills are sometimes a luxury.

I am going to be completely honest.  I guess you could say I am a neurotypical, so I will never be able to fully understand what challenges someone with ASD has to deal with.  However, I do take a stand along side him or her.  I stand with those individuals in their mission of spreading awareness of this disorder so that one day everyone will see that those with ASD are not in any way, shape, or form inferior to what society deems as "normal" because in more ways than one, I believe they are superior.

Furyborn by Claire Legrand

Where do I even begin to describe Furyborn?  If I am being sincere, I highly anticipated this book, and was thrilled when I found out that I was going to be getting a copy.  I could not wait to start reading.  The day I received it in the mail, I sat down and eagerly began to read.  My first day, I read a seventeen chapters, and the story continued to decline with each passing page.  From then on, I practically had to force myself to keep reading.
